Directions to Grisnoir

There are two buses to Town from the Airport:

Route 4,

once an hour comes through the Top of Grange, which is where you need to get off. Takes approximately 20 minutes.

Route 7A,

twice an hour, goes a different route into Town, where you must change for any bus to the Top of the Grange. (There are a number of routes which come up the hill from Town, so ask which is the next.) 20 minutes into Town, and 6 minutes up the hill.

The bus fare is just 60p per journey, anywhere on the island.

Once you get off the bus:

Route 4,

Please go in the same direction as the bus to cross Brock Road, and reach the pelican crossing to cross the road that the bus has taken, do not try to cross without the pelican. You are now standing by the bus stop for buses which have come up the hill out of Town ...

Other Routes,

... Facing the road, right is down the hill, left is flat. Go leftwards and cross The Queen's Road to go along Les Gravees. Take the right fork as you get to the Abbey Court Hotel, and Grisnoir is on your left. This should not have taken you more than 5 minutes!

Taxis:

Operate from the Airport, take about 15 minutes depending on the traffic, and cost somewhere between £6 and £7, more during 'unsociable hours'! They, of course, bring you right to the door, and help with luggage.
